The Lord's Day







1 That Christ's servant would be "steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of th Lord, knowing that "your labor is not in vain in the Lord." I Cor 15:58

2 That God would so work in "all men" and in governmental leaders "that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." I Tim 2:1,2

3 That pastors and people alike would be "strengthened with all might according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness." Col 1:11

4 That sin-blinded and sin-bound souls would be gloriously converted by the power of the gospel of the grace of God Acts 26:18; Rom 1:16

5 That Christ would be praised for His redemptive purpose and work among "every kindred, and tongue and people, and nation." Rev 5:9

6 That the Lord would bless, keep, make His face shine upon, be gracious unto, lift up His coutnenance upon, and give peace unto His missionaries. Num 6:24-26

7 That Christ's ministers would be freed up so they may give themselves "continually prayer, and to the ministry of the word." Acts 6:4

8 "That the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified." II Thess 3:1

9 That Christ's servants may be filled "with all joy and peace in believing" and "abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost" Rom 15:13

10 That the needs of God's missionaires would be supplied "according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phil 4:19

11 That the Lord would make His people to "increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men." I Thess 3:12

12 That missionaries would speak and minister "as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." I Pet 4:10,11

13 That the "unsearchable riches of Christ" would be preached to and heard by those who have never heard. Eph 3:8; Is 52:15; Rom 15:20,21

14 That utterance might be given to Christ's ambassadors to open their mouths "boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel." Eph 6:19,20

15 That Christ's servants would "be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man." Eph 3:16

16 That the missionary be not led into temptation but be delivered from evil. Matt 6:13

17 That God's servants would "be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding." Col 1:9; 4:12

18 That believers in their walk might be "fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God." Col 1:10

19 That Christ's ministers would prepare their hearts "to seek the law of the Lord, and to do it, and to teach" it. Ezra 7:10

20 That God would be merciful to, and bless, and cause His face to shine upon His people that His "way may be known upon earth" and His "saving health among all nations." Psalm 67

21 That the missionary would both encourage "himself in the Lord his God" as well as have his hand strengthened in God by others in times of great distress. I Sam 30:6; 23:16

22 "That the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy" extended in the gospel. Rom 15:9

23 That the Lord of the harvest "will send forth laborers into his harvest." Matt 9:36-38

24 That the missionary and his family would know that "the joy of the Lord is your strength." Neh 8:10

25 That the saints may know "what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe." Eph 1:19

26 That God's comforting, stablishing, and keeping work would be performed in His servant's lives" II Thess 2:16,17; 3:3

27 That believers in the churches would "as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that [they] may grow thereby." I Pet 2:2

28 That Christ's teachers and preachers would be strengthened to commit what they have heard "to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." II Tim 2:1,2

29 In times of tribulation and suffering, "that no man should be moved by these afflictions for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto." I Thess 3:3

30 That after His servants "have suffered a while, the God of all grace would make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." I Pet 5:10

31 That the preacher and those to whom he preaches may "know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, [that they] might be filled with all the fulness of God." Eph 3:19
